China`s fast economic recovery is an opportunity for exporters

Asian Development Bank (ADB) says that Asia and especially China contributed very positively to the worldwide recovery. Bottom of the recession has been left in the first Quarter 2009 in Asia. Overall the Asian Development Bank is raising the growth expectation (gross domestic product) for 2009 from 3,4 % to 3,9 % for Asia.

Still exceptional high growth rates of Chinese economy
The Chinese economy grew in the first half of 2009 by 7,1 % - in real terms (constant prices). ADB expects for the whole year 2009 an increase of 8,2 % after 9,0 % in 2008. The growth rates for the future will be less high than in the past, however an expectation of 8,9 % real GDP growth for 2010 is remarkably high compared to growth rates in the other large economies of the world.

Chinese retail expenditure increased by 15 %
According to figures released by the National Bureau of Statistics, the national total retail sales of consumer goods in the first half increased by 15%. Furniture retail sales for example increased by 28.3%! Retail sales throughout the crisis are reported to grow in stability in the 2tier cities and regions, whereas 1tier cities saw a decline and subsequent growth.

China as import market
Thus China is giving numerous opportunities to develop business and is becoming a more and more attractive market for exporters worldwide. Subsequently the trade shows are increasingly important to supply the internal chinese market and there are numerous products, which chinese companies are importing to sell to domestic companies and consumers.
