Trade Show Management Studies

There are only few universities, which offer courses for a degree in trade show management. Alumnis of these institutions have very good chances for a career in trade show management, because organizers can find at these universities specially trained, skilled young managers. The most important universities, which offer a degree in trade show management are:

Germany

Merkur Internationale Fachhochschule Karlsruhe
Merkur International University of Applied Sciences offers an industry specific "Bachelor Degree for Trade Fair, Convention and Event Management". Students can study in this program in German or in English. It needs three years to complete the Bachelor. Part of these three years are two internships of 8 and 12 weeks.

Berufsakademie Ravensburg 
Course studies of the University of Cooperative Education Ravensburg offer special business administration topics for the areas of trade show, conference and congress management. Large parts of the program will be in companies active in managing trade shows, conferences, events and the like. Final qualification will be "Bachelor in Business Administration (Trade Fair and Congress Management).

Internationale Fachhochschulde Bad Honnef 
The International University of Applied Sciences offers a course in Event Management since 1994. Language of tuition is English. Studies can be finished after three years with the degree "Bachelor in Event Management".
