Hotelex Shanghai 2010 (March 29 - Apritl 1, 2010 at SNIEC) ended with an upbeat climate and good results. Hotelex Shanghai is one of the top hospitality events in the world and reflected the dynamic swing of the Chinese hospitality industry. 885 exhibitors from 24 countries and regions came to participate with their new products, an increase of 15% from last year. Italy and Ethopia presented country pavillons. Furniture, textiles and tableware formed an important part of the offerings. Visitors increased by 5 % and reached a total of 43,288. Read more

The Proposte, from May 5th–7th in Cernobbio, right at the Como Lake, has succeeded to prop textile preciousness against the crisis. 103 exhibitors offered an exquisite selection of high-end fabrics, mainly for upholstery, curtains and – following the new trend – for the outdoor sector. Having previously scaled down their general expectations due to the general economic situation, they seemed to be reassured by the propitiatory outcome. Quite thankful they were, too, towards the heavy rain that motivated the professional visitors to stay indoors! Therefore, the frequency at the second day was lower, but in the whole satisfactory. Mai in Cernobbio am Comer See hat es geschafft, sich mit textilen Kostbarkeiten gegen die Krise zu stemmen. 103 Aussteller brachten eine exquisite Auswahl hochwertigster Polster- und Vorhangstoffe, sowie die neuen trendigen Outdoor- Bezugsstoffe. Im Vorfeld hatten sie, gemäß der Wirtschaftslage, ihre Ansprüche an den Markt ein wenig heruntergeschraubt und zeigten sich hernach doch zufrieden. Dankbar war man auch dem strömenden Regen am ersten Tag, der die Besucher gern und lange an den Ausstellungsständen hielt. Für 22.784 Besucher stand im April der Besuch der HKTDC Hong Kong International Lighting Fair (Spring Edition) auf dem Programm – ein Plus von 40 Prozent im Vergleich zum letzten April. From April 14th-19th 2010, at the Fairgrounds of Milano Rho, the famous i Saloni spread out their charms to satisfy and amaze the many people that have defied the volcano ashes wavering all over the continent. According to the organizer, 329,563 accredited visitors had been there and 5,110 journalists, celebrating what is called - The Event is back! - 2,542 exhibitors have come to present the broadest overview ever on the global interior decoration sector and some of its branches. The museal and innovational character of the show – along with the entrepreneurial interests – makes it a pleasure to walk through the halls. Most attracting to the visitors seemed to be the ten design and modern halls with huge stands offering sitting room options, bedrooms, dining areas, stand-alone pieces of furniture, furnishing accessories, knick knacks and decorative items as well as the four Eurocucina halls. April 2010 auf dem Messegelände Milano Rho – haben nichts von Ihrem Glamour eingebüßt und so viele Besucher wie nie angelockt, die es zudem geschafft hatten, der isländischen Vulkanasche zu entgehen. 329.563 an der Zahl hatten sich laut Organisator registriert, sowie 5.110 Journalisten, dem von der Messe ausgegebenen Motto folgend: The Event is back! 2.542 Aussteller zeigten ihre Produkte. Der museale und innovative Charakter der Messe ergänzte die untenehmerische Funktion um ein großartiges ästhetisches Erlebnis. Besonders viel Publikum war in den zehn Salone design und Salone moderno Hallen zu sehen, sowie in den vier Eurocucina Hallen. In den Hallen des Salone classico war die Frequenz schwächer. Read more

Die M.O.W. (25. - 29. April 2010) endete mit einem guten Ergebnis. Die Messe für die Einkaufsverbände und Einkäufer von Großformen des Handels registrierte mehr Besucher als 2009, so der Veranstalter. "Die Branche hat sich in den neuen Frühjahrs-Zyklus eingefunden", so M.O.W. Chef Bernd Schäfermeier. Mehr als 500 Unternehmen aus 31 Nationen zeigten in den verschiedenen Hallen und Pavillons von Bad Salzuflen und Barntrup ihre Produkte und Konzepte.
