Furniture China 2008 Report

Furniture China is the largest Asian furniture tradeshow with more than 330.000 sqm exhibition space, and it is becoming increasingly global in terms of exhibitors and visitors. Domestic and international visitor figures reached a total of 58,582 visitors amongst 13.600 visitors from 150 countries despite stricter visa regulations and more expensive airline tickets.

Important international exhibitorship
Furniture China 2008 attracted 1931 exhibitors from 22 countries & regions  including 155 overseas exhibitors. With it`s 330.000 sqm exhibition space Furniture China has become the 3rd largest furniture show in the world.
Asian companies, especially from Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, and India have continued to expand their presence at Furniture Shanghai. France came with a country pavillon and companies from Italy, Germany, The Netherlands, Turkey and America have added their presence to the international scale amounting to more than 24.000 sqm of exhibition space for international companies.

Overseas visitor delegations
From the buyers side Furniture China could welcome for the first time large delegations from Brazil and Mexico.

New design and concept
Furniture China presented itself in a new design and with a new, room oriented concept. Each exhibition hall had a clear focus and a high level of quality showcasing furniture for the office, the kitchen and the living room, and for decoration, beds and sofas, furniture parts, outdoor furniture and furniture woodworking machinery. This clear focus was very well received by buyers and also exibitors themselves.

Furniture China 2009 will be September 9 - 12, 2009.
